Summary

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Plan and prioritize workflow to meet project deadlines and production schedules.
• Assign tasks to craftsmen and ensure they have the necessary resources to complete their work efficiently.
• Implement quality control measures to maintain high standards of craftsmanship and ensure finished products meet client expectations.
• Manage inventory of materials and supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels to support production needs.
• Coordinate with purchasing and shipping teams to order materials and schedule deliveries as necessary.
• Monitor equipment and machinery, schedule maintenance and repairs to minimize downtime.
• Enforce safety policies and procedures to create a safe working environment for all employees.
• Conduct regular safety training sessions and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Lead and motivate a team of craftsmen, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Provide coaching, and feedback to support employee development and growth.
• Resolve conflicts or issues that may arise within the team, promoting open communication and problem-solving.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Supervisory experience in a production facility 
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
• Excellent project management and organizational abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
• Familiarity with safety protocols.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders.
• Creative problem-solving skills and a passion for craftsmanship and quality.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must possess a solid base in mathematics.
• Some travel may be required for this position.
